Stratlyze reads a strategy-tester report and the equity graph MT5 writes beside it, and rebuilds the real equity curve on your machine.

The balance steps only when a trade closes. Equity moves the whole time a position is open. Red is where the account was worth less than its balance said.

It reads what MT5 actually writes, then back-solves each closed lot to recover what was open at the time.

entry = exit − profit ÷ (vol · sign · K)

QuantAnalyzer 4 builds its curve from closed trades, so it never dips for a position that is still open. That difference is why this exists.
